How do you know what teddy hamster you have?

Well a teddy bear hamster is usally a light brown color or brown with just white spots.A dwarfhamster is usally grey,black,or white. I have 2 teddy bear hamster.they are SOOO cute!

Teddy bear hamsters, dwarf hamsters, golden hamsters; they can be all different colors... brown, grey, white, black... any thing.

Teddy bear hamsters have looong fur, sometimes up to 1 1/2 inches in spots. They usually have slimmer bodies, like mice, but the fur makes up for the lack of body! :)

The hamster species only falls in to two groups. It's Syrian or Dwarf. Even though there's different names for different appearance, they only fall in to one of those two groups. The Long-Haired Syrian is known as the Teddy Bear Hamster and the others known as Short-Haired Syrians. Most hamsters are usually named after their coat.
