Some of the early warnings will be like fuel pump does not turn on when the key is turned. Another is that your truck will almost turn off even while your driving. It may start fine and then idle horribly for a few seconds and then run just fine. It could even mess with your transmission in some cases.

This engine is computer controlled. The computer can decide to not give you any power, usually because the computer does not know you are stepping on the fuel. Have the car scanned and repaired.
