The difference between thinking you found your Guru and finding your Guru is only clear after you actually find your Guru. When you think 'could this be my Guru?' you may need to keep looking.
My personal advice is that before you think seriously about this question you need to be both relatively stable and committed to the path. If not all kinds of strange ideas can emerge. Also consider asking the most reliable and experienced Buddhist you know.
