It's not a simple pin-to-pin connection, I'm afraid. An RS232 Converter chip is needed, along with some other components and soldering skills, to make it work. Here's a link:

That's an article (in PDF format) that tells you all about it.
Have fun!
Impossible as you would need a IC (chip) connected on the lead so the computer would recognise the hardware to be connected, hope this help, however you can buy the same type of cable already made.

The answer to your question is NO. The HP 4200 does not come with a USB port, only parallel and optional ethernet ports. You can get a parallel to USB cable if you do not have a parallel port on your computer.
Use a USB to Parallel adapter cable.
It depends on the printer, but a parallel port cable or USB cable will be compatible.
A USB printer, as opposed to a printer using a serial or parallel cable connection, plugs into the USB socket on the computer's tower. Unlike the serial and parallel connections, a USB connection doesn't require the printer to be shut down before connecting the cable.
A cable or wifi. If a cable is used, it may be classed as a serial, parallel, or USB connecting cable - depending on the type of printer.
Yes, the "Cable Unlimited Female Printer" will work with any USB or parallel cable printer.
The usb cable extension is made by another usb cable. The cable is made with one usb connecter and 1 usb connecter. You can simple attach the extender cable to your usb.
in RJ45 connector connected cat5 cable through same cable coding, that's call parallel cable.
first of all plug in usb to parallel printer cable into the computer windows automatically installed found new hardware after that connect the cable into your printer
Whether your printer uses a serial port, or parallel port, or USB port, or wifi, decides what type of cable you need. Name and model of printer? Have you looked on the maker's website or user guide for instructions?
24AWG / 4 Conductor Shielded Cable
This is a 25 pin cable, usually used to connect a printer to your computer (parallel port). Most printers connect using the USB cable anymore, as other external devices.
