Ooo,...this sound like it would be fun! Well probably one of the most interesting things about pullys is that if the pully is on the movable part of the line it provides you with a mechanical advantage of 50%! That is to say, properly set up you can lift a 10 pound weight with just 5 pounds of force. If the pully isn't moveable it only provides a fixed point from which to change the direction of pull and no mechanical advantage at all! In this it take 10 lbs of force to move a 10 lb weight. This should be pretty easy to show a 3rd grader and fun too!
Hi The website www.elektroniksforkids.com provides a number of mini projects. It also gives a custom search just for seaching electronic project repositories in the web
Simple machines usually decrease the amount of force needed and therefore making work easier. In some cases speed is traded like a baseball bat. It is called a third class lever. A simple pulley doesn't change the force but does change the direction.
becuz it not electronic and it is easy to use .
This question has been correctly answered by me in three different forms. All answers were in third person, with no URLs or vulgarity and absolutely no plagiarism. yet it was constantly flagged. There is now suspicion on my part that its simply because it is the last task, so payment cannot be made for the entire project.

Some ideas for a third grade science project are showing how aerobic and anaerobic decomposition occurs or if food items are fruits or vegetables. Other ideas are showing how a compass works or how to tell time using the sun.
