this is my grandma junes recipe = Grandma's Yeast Biscuits = Written by kels_97 Ingredients: 1 Package of dry yeast 2 Tablespoons of warm water 5 cups of flour 1 teaspoon of baking soda 1 tablespoon of sugar 3 teaspoon of baking powder 2+ cups of buttermilk 1 cup of Crisco 1. Add the warm water to the yeast and let it set. 2. Mix the dry ingredients together. 3. Add Crisco to dry ingredients cut up Crisco to very small chunks. 4. Add Buttermilk to the yeast and water mixture. 5. Pour the water, Buttermilk, and yeast in to the dry ingredients. 6. Mix it well. 7. Put in airtight container and store in refrigerator until you need to make it. (Can be stored for up to 2 weeks) 8. Shape into biscuits hope you like it
