There are many inventive sequences which can produce 'faces'. Due to the way characters follow along a line of text, almost all examples are produced on their side and are best viewed from the side.
Examples are -
: ) which is a smiley face
; ) which is a winking smiley face
d:-p which is a boy wearing a cap and sticking his tongue out
There are lots more - have a go yourself by looking at each keyboard character and imagine what facial feature it might represent. Remember that it is how it looks from the side.
Many more shapes can be found in the numerous different fonts available. An example - use c for a bump on the top of a head or 8 for a pair of specs.
The list of possibles is only restricted by your imagination

∙ 13y agoWhen ever your typing on a keyboard and you want to do those cute little emotes you put a : for the eyes. This symbol can be found next to an L. Then you either put a ( like that or ) for the little smile or frown. If you want to throw in something else for a mouth then put a 0 or an o instead.
