You can sometimes make it dry faster by heating it,but generally not a good idea as this seems to weaken it also.
Super Glue's 'Original' will dry clear in that use.
Some glues like epoxy dry faster when hotter, others like silicon based adhesives dry faster under cold conditions. -All glue is different . When asking an adhesive or glue question, simply saying "glue" is not enough information.
Applying heat may release glue. Over time, glue can become so dry that it fails to remain glued.
Glue in the BottleBecause air can't get in to dry it; if you leave the top off for long enough it will start to dry inside.
Glue doesn't stick to the bottle because, in order for glue to become sticky it has to dry. There's no air circulation in a closed bottle so glue can't dry. If you're thinking, "But what if I leave the glue bottle open! Why doesn't it dry?" It's because there is a lot of glue in the bottle. Not just a thin layer. Just like when you're glueing something and you're not supposed to use that much glue because it won't dry.

I had to do this recently when the glass came out of the track. First remove the trim panel and carefully lift out the glass. Then remove the two attachment pieces from the sissor arm. After taking careful measurements use some Goop or other glue to attach the two pieces to the glass. After the glue dries you can then carefully reinsert the glass into the door and attach it to the sissor. I waited a couple of days before operating the window to make sure the glue was dry. .
