plaiting hair is easy really.
First split you hair into three pieces.. then take on outer piece and wrap it over the middle piece.
After that, take the other outer piece (on the other side) and wrap that over the middle piece.. but making sure it is in between the middle bit and the bit you just did (the first piece)
continue this all the way down.

no of course not i wear plaits and my hair hasn't grown one inch i am still asking my parents to straighten it
for French people there is nothing 'French' in plaits. That hairstyle is not specially popular and is just called plaits tranlated in French as 'une tresse / des tresses'
you need to where uniform ,must be in proper attire ,must tie your hair into a ponytail or tie plaits if you are a girl, sideburns for boys must be shaved
