You can ask them nicely, you can explain why you think you need one, you can offer to pay for part or all of it yourself.
You can also tell them that your fone probaly is working as good as it was before.

∙ 11y agowell my cuzin went to the mall and got one and like after a month or so she told them she got the phone or .... be honost with your parents and tell them you need a phone like how old r u if your 11 thats under age if ur 12 well maybe if ur 13 its good but JUST for emergencies im 13 and my parents dont allow me to have a phone so when we were in the summer vication i lost my iPod and i told my mom if i could use her old iphone just for songs and she said yes so there was no service and i only used it for songs but then she took away my ipad cuz i was always alone and never talking to my family and i was carefree i only wanted the ipad so i took her phone and made it my phone so now shes trying to get it back but im not giving it to her and now she took my ipad and my iphone away but i still have the ipod lol well hope that was helpful
but im trying to convence her to give me my ipad and the iphone only on friday adn on saturday and sunday till the ed of the week she keeps them and only giving it to me 1 day on the weekend so i can concentrate on my home work and studies (hope that helps)

∙ 12y agoYou don't 'make' your parents do any such thing that would be rude and selfish. If a simple request is insufficient then go and earn some money and buy one yourself.
