right behind the seatbelt mounts on both sides,there is a small cable with a loop on the end.stick you finger in the loop and pull,this will release the latch pin.
if it is the cable under the top . i have just reached in to the release and pull the spring forward. it is just a lever. pull forward and you should be ok

In your glove box should be two buttons one is the trunk release button and the other one is a flasher button.
The E brake pedal is to the left next to the kick panel It is vacuum operated and should release automatically when car is placed in drive as long as car has stored vacuum or is running. If it doesn't you can release it manually by lever located next to pedal . Emergency brake is built into rear calipers. Hope this Helps
