The same way you measure the size of a television screen in any other system of units. TV screen sizes are measured diagonally, from one corner to the opposite corner.

The size is usually quoted in centimetres (cm).

It would be pretty difficult to get much fun out of a TV set whose width is 1 centimetre. But, a TV that is 1 metre wide will cost a lot of money for someone who does not even know the difference between a metre and a centimetre.

meters, anything smaller isn't really useful for tv's larger than 3 feet, which most tv's are today
