what do you mean how do you open it? You either use your key or you push the yellow button on the dash.
Open hood, look behind the light. should be a metal plate with one big wire in the back. remove plate. easy access to light.

you get yourself a pair of pliars to pull it and the hood should pop open, mine came off and that's how i have to open mine now.
