the hood is open.
Open the hood, slam it shut and the message will go away!
Most likely cause is a faulty under bonnet pin switch
There may be an open bonnet. The bonnet may not have been closed properly, as can happen.

the fuse is labeled and located in the fuse box underneath your bonnet (hood). pull the four tabs on your fuse box cover to open, opposite side will tell you which one it is..

unfotunatley u have too break the grille and open the damaged catch by prising it open with a screwdriver, luckily a replacement grille is easy enough to pick up from any breakers yard, as rovers have never been the most reliabley engined cars so scrap yards/breakers are never short of a rover or two

In the discovery the fuse panels are behind the panel in front of the drivers right knee (RHD) and under the bonnet above the drivers wheel. In the Range Rover the fuse panels are under the drivers seat (RHD) and under the bonnet above the drivers wheel.
