At the top of your Wii base unit is a door. Inside of this door are two ports into which you plug the sending unit which once active communicates with your wireless Block Head Controller. I hope this helps you out. Goodness knows it took me a while to find this and figure it out. Good luck, and happy gaming.
Best regards,
Jim Carter
There is a spot on the Wii where you can take off a piece revealing gamecube controller sockets plug in a gamecube controller and right next to this area on the Wii you can find a spot for gamecube memory cards, once you have the controllers plugged in play either a gamecube game or a Wii game that is compatible with the gamecube controller Example: Super Smash Bros Brawl and then just use the controller to play the game.
The Wireless controllers come with a plug much like the wired variants. Plug this into the Wii's Gamecube ports and then turn on the controller and make sure that both the controller and dial on the plug are set to the correct channel (sometimes 3 and often times 4).
there is a flap on top that you open. There is where the four gamecube ports are.
only on some games like super smash bros brawl and Mario Kart wii.
put the receiver in the same place as a normal GC controller, in the slots on top.
Yes, they do. The Wii is designed to accept Gamecube controllers of all kinds.
Just like the GameCube, the Wii has four slots for GameCube controllers. Insert the controller into one of the slots.
Yes, the GameCube controller will work for the Nintendo Wii. Since the Wii can play GameCube games, it requires the use of the GameCube controller and Wii controllers will not work for GameCube games. Also, some Wii games such as Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl also are compatible with GameCube controllers.
NO
The answer is no the gamecube controller will not work on the nintendo 64 it only works for the gamecube and the newer wii system.
Definitely not, only the gamecube controller.
No, Wii controllers don't have wires 2 connect 2 the gamecube
Yes the wii was built to be compatible for the gamecube and wii games. But you must have a gamecube controller to play it.
No, a Wii Controller cannot be used to play GameCube games, even if the GameCube game is running on the Wii
yes but you cant use the wii remote there is a slot in the top were you can plug in a gamecube controller
Yes, you can. However, most Wii games are not compatible with the GameCube controller.
yes you can use a classic controller or you can use a gamecube controller...also u need a gamecube memory card to save. Its in the wii manual.--------------------Correction No you cannot. The GameCube feature disables the Wii side of the console, so the wii-motes won't work or the attached "classic" controller. You have to have a GameCube Controller that plugs into the GameCube controller port
Yes, you plug your GameCube Controller into your Wii.
NO!, I did this.. the positive is in the negative side. You can jam it in there, but it will fry your wii!
