How do you prestige in Call of Duty black ops?

You must reach level 70 for prestige. Once you do this all the things you earned reset after your last prestige. However your titles and emblems do not go away. You have to also level up again after level 70. You reach 70 but you can't prestige until your XP bar is filled.

Once you reach the max rank, you still need to gain XP. Then you will go into the "Barracks" and select Prestige Mode.

NOTE: Make sure to read the notes before jumping in - you lose everything.

Go to the barracks and at the bottom it will say Prestige Mode. When you select that it will warn you that you will loose all of you guns and all that. You keep your titles and emblems but loose everything else.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare: Reach level 55 and get the XP needed after that. Go to barracks, click prestige, and click continue until you prestige.

Call of Duty World at War: Reach level 65 and get the XP needed after that. Go to barracks, click prestige, and click continue until you prestige.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: Reach level 70 and get the XP needed after that. Go to barracks, click prestige, and click continue until you prestige.

Call of Duty Black Ops: Get to level 50, and get the XP needed after that, go to my playercard, and go down to prestige, and click continue until you prestige.

First of all, you need to get to rank 50 by leveling up.

Then go to your player card and go to the option that says:

prestige mode

then click it. then it ask you do you want to prestige?

and do it all over again? then after you press more info....

it ask again you press ok and it says "there's no going back..."

and if you press enter prestige, you become rank 1 again but your prestiged

and you have to rank up and unlock everything again

but you get a new rank icon and when your 14th prestige, you unlock gold camo

for your guns.

basically, you rank up, do it again 15 times and you can't prestige anymore.

but, you get lot's of experience with the game,

and you can improve as you rank up.

plus the games already fun by itself.... so playing the game is just what is was made for.

You prestige in mw3 by going through all the ranks when you first start. There are eighty ranks total, so it may take a long time to do this. If you would like to prestige quickly I suggest using double xp.

You prestige by making it to the last xp level online then when you pass it you restart and after 10th you cant pass the final level
