Turn key to the on position and then to the off position 7 times, then immediately back to the on position within 10 seconds. you should hear the doors lock & unlock at this point. Now hit the remote unlock button twice and the remote lock button twice. remove key and test.
This should work for most Ford vehicles & remotes.
If the above does not work for your vehicle, try turning the key on/off 6, 8, 9, or 10 times...i've seen some be off by one or two clicks.
