you need to purchase infared head phones. That is the only way to hear the DVD. YOu can buy them from Ford (expensive) or look on line, the range in $ from 20.00 to 100.00. You shouldn't need to program them, they will just receive the signal as soon as the DVD is started. They must be infrared type head phones.
