How do you get mods for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on the PS3?

Well, first, find a mod from any website and download it. Most mods come with exact instructions in the readme.txt file which detail the install. Be sure to back up your game as most save files are not compatible with mods, depending if you just modding cars, or if you modding the entire game. There are also programs which install mods for you, many to choose from, just go to a modding site and try one out.

listen to me dude u need to download gmi mod installer then go download mods for gta 3 if u want go to www.gtainside.com there in the reght side of ur desktop u will see gta san Andreas,vice city,gta 4,and gta 3 search there find mods or cars skins whatever u donwload install and play :) sry for bad English

i dont think it is possible to be able to mod gta SA on the ps3 ive tried using a usb flash drive to put the mods on the usb from the worldmods web site but when trying to copy them onto the ps3 game utility it says no saved data so am guessing in that case you cant do it i really wanted to but ah well what can you do.
