To do it yourself, put the seam of the cap on your forehead, grab the other end of the cap with both hands and quickly snap the cap over your head. Another technique is to put both hands into the cap so that your fingertips run along the seam. Then put your hands above your head, spread the bottom of your hands apart, and bring the cap down over your head. It can take some practice to put a cap on, but it gets easier.
