To install door pins on a 2001 Bravada, first, ensure the door is fully open. Remove the old pins if necessary by using a punch to drive them out. Align the new pins with the hinge holes, then gently tap them in with a hammer until they are fully seated. Finally, test the door movement to ensure it operates smoothly.
Open door look at the hinge remove two pins holding it on and remove door place it on ground, pick up new door put pins back onto the hinge well holding door and you should be done.
try taking the interior door panel off the door first but be careful because there connected with hooks and plastic pins. before taking this off take off the interior door handle and the pull. you should now see the cables and wires. take the pin off and try and peg it up, depending on the size of the chrome door pull, put it on first if small and if large put it on after. put on the panel and then the pull and handle. that shud do it!
Put the key in the door and unlock it.
Just did the pins on my 95 Chevy 3/4 ton. Easy. Have a couple of freinds help hold the door at the end and remove the soft boot and unhook the electrical plugs for the door workings. With a screw driver pry out the coil spring. Remove the holding rings on the pins top and bottom. Tap out the top pin, make sure your buddies are holding the door, then the bottom. Remove the door. Using a punch remove the four brass sleaves, clean the area with a wire brush and replace them with the new sleaves. Have the buddies lift the door back in place and put the pins back in, make sure you hammer the pins in so the heads are flush. Put on the holding rings, rehook up the electrical, replace the rubber boot. Done, except for the spring. The door will work fine without the spring it just helps keep the door open when open. Go to your local body shop and with the special tool it will take him seconds to put it in for you, if he doesn't, never go back for anything.

Pins should never be put in backwards
Open the door to gain access to the inner panel. Unscrew the lock and remove it from the door. Remove the screw on the door lever and put the lever aside. Use a wide and flat tool to pry the bottom of the panel away from the metal. Now pull the panel away from the door and you are finished.
Put the appropriate key in the door, and turn. Or use the remote if you have keyless entry.
