You can buy a recharge kit at most parts stores. I got mine at Advance for around $35. This included two cans of 134a refrigerant, a hose with gauge, and a short DVD on how to do it. The big problem with the PT is that the low pressure valve is down low right behind the radiator. Unless you have very thin arms you're going to need a small person to hook it up. I haven't finished mine yet so I'm not sure if there's a splash shield that I can pull to gain access or not. Still, all in all, it should be easy enough for most DIYers.
Bc is not enough air in the intake....
On a 2004 PT Cruiser it is just ahead of the air filter. Remove the air filter cover to service the battery.
A 2002 PT Cruiser was not built with a cabin filter.

The external air temperature sensor on a Chrysler PT Cruiser is located in the front of the motor. It is in the air intake tube that goes from the air cleaner to the motor.
In the engine compartment
Yes.
It was not built with one.
All model years of the PT cruiser will use R134a refrigerant in their air conditioning system, and PAG compressor oil.
It is on the suction line, down near the compressor. It is between the radiator fan and the engine, lower front, passenger side.
You can find a good PT Cruiser Engine online or through your a PT Cruiser dealership.
