The force a lever can apply to a given point greatly depends on two distances:
The distance from the pivot point to the object to be lifted and the distance from the pivot point to the point on the lever where force will be applied.
To reduce the distance from the pivot-point to the point where Force is applied is to reduce the "force" of a lever.

The first class lever (force, fulcrum, load) doesn't change the force if the lever is symetrical. Note that if it is assymetrical, the force will change.
A screw multiplies effort through the principle of the lever. The screw part of the fastener is actually a small lever that allows the screw to bite and dig into other materials.
it is called a force
The force that you exert on a lever can be called the effort force. The lever has three parts. They are: the fulcrum, the load, and the effort force. This can also be classified as the input force. The force that you exert to perform a task is known as the input force.
a lever
A lever can rotate around the fixed point that is called a pivot. Levers are used to reduce the force need to do a particular task.
Load = the force of the weight of the lever fulcrum = the point of which the lever rests effort = the force you apply to the lever
Load = the force of the weight of the lever fulcrum = the point of which the lever rests effort = the force you apply to the lever
Force the lever will apply to the load being lifted.

a lever is overcome by Inertia.
first class lever
