NORMALLY THE WIPER ARM SHOULD POP OFF YOU MAY HAVE SPRAY LUBERCIANT ON THE ARM WHERE IT CONNECTS TO THE WIPER MOTOR BECAUSE OF THE DIRT AND GREASE IT ACCUMULATES OVER THE YEARS

- Ideally all windshield wipers are removed the same way. Look around for a tutorial video to find the technique and if it works for you, try it on your mustang. -

when you lift the wiper away from the windshield you will notice at the base of the wiper that there is a little keeper you slide out to lock the wiper in the up position, once you do that you simply pull from the base of the wiper straight out away from the cowl and it will come off.

First, remove the instrument bezel. Then, loosen the little set screw that holds the wiper switch knob on and remove the knob. Then, unscrew the switch bezel. Unplug the wire harness and pull the switch out of the dash. Nothing to it.

1 way to tell a 1964 Mustang from a 1965 Mustang is to look under the hood the 1964 relied on a generator and the 1965 had an alternator.

They are attached to the underside of the hood, right in front of the windshield. They are quite easy to replace, if clogged. You'll find just a few small rubber hoses to remove that are slipped over the ends of the nozzles, supplying them with washer fluid from the pump.

The attaching points that hold the dash can be accessed from behind the dash itself. You may want to remove the instrument cluster as well as the glove box door and radio to make the job easier, dont forget to remove the trim up by the windshield. The nuts that hold the dash in place are located in the corners and near the radio, there is probably a couple others so you'll have to feel around. ::AverageJoeResto.com::
