There will be 6 main bolts (some may have more bolts or less) on the top of the bed. Remove all bolts. After, check for the wiring connections. There should be a releasable wiring harness up towards the cab, unplug the wiring. If you have a towing pkg you will need to disconnect the wiring from that also.

I have an 01 Chevy 5.3 single cab short bed 4x4. The PCV valve is on the back of the left valve cover.
That engine has 2 of them and believe it or NOT. they are UNDERNEATH the intake manifold. You will have to remove the intake to even SEE them are to service them.
It might not work as well, but possibly, it could work.

Bank 2 is the side of the engine where the #2 spark plug is. On my 99 Silverado it's on the passenger side.
You will need to remove the dash and it should be somewhere under
the float in your tank is probably bad, causing inaccurate readings.
195 to 210 degrees is just fine. If any hotter then there is a problem.
on a 99 model there are two of them and its located under the intake. quite a bit of work but not bad.
1/2 tons have the 4L60E / 4L65E 3/4 tons used the 4L80E / 4L85E
