Let it dry absolutely completely and then paint over it at least twice.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you. I am assuming you mean wall-construction board in 4x8 foot sheets that is used for wallboarding? (Gypsum board)

gypsum plaster does not burn or catch fire. It is essentially rock.
Let bleach soak on it than maybe power-wash it away.

you should allow one week per 1mm of affixed plaster....you can cheat by painting over the plaster surface with a breathable paint BUT you will probably suffer from condensation until the plaster has dried thoroughly. Merry Christmas
