Calcium does not build up on gums, you are confusing it with plaque. And yes, you have to remove plaque from your gums, because it allows the growth of bacteria which can be very harmful to your gums.

Use WD-40 to remove the tar then hand wash pants in Dawn dish soap. Once clean wash in washing machine by themselves. I was a roofer and this was the best way I found to remove roofing tar
Try hydrogen peroxide full strength. It may remove it the stain. This works well on fresh blood stains. It will bubble and fizz, repeat process until bubble and fizzing stops. Rinse in cold water. Hot water will set the blood stain.
Sorry, battery acid stains are permanent. The acid will eat away the cloth.
