Well seeing as how, no one person answered my question but answered anything but what I asked, I would say this website isn't working out so well. If anyone doesn't know how to do this stuff already then you probably shouldn't be trying. All you will do is screw up something that is very expensive to fix. I got my ASE Certification in 1996 and updated in 2010. Removing something like a catalytic converter takes little know-how, But all the right tools. Always remember one thing when replacing or removing anything to do with exhaust on any vehicle: Always spray all your nuts and bolts that you will be removing, Heavily with WD-40 or PB-Blaster, or some kind of nut and bolt lubricant. If you don't, then you will most likely find yourself unwilling-fully learning how to drill out broken bolts and how to use a tap-it kit to re-thread your holes, just so you will have something to mount to in the end...Other than that, Everything else is pretty much everyday common sense...Thanks...Joe-Soddy Daisy, TN.
Plugged catalytic converter?
The oxygen sensors in a 2005 Chevy Malibu are in the exhaust system. You'll find them at the end of the down pipes and behind the catalytic converter.

Yes, and it is also illegal to remove the catalytic converter. Your engine will not run properly with the converter removed and will have less power and will use more fuel.
Yes, it most certainly does. In fact it is illegal to remove the converter.
the upstream o2 sensor is mounted in the exhaust before the catalytic converter and the downstream sensor is after the cat. conver.
Depending on where you live, you MAY be in violation of emissions law.
The catalytic converter is found in the exhaust system between the engine and the muffler.
No, cause if you do, the car will blow up due to lack of air circulation...
