1. remove thePhilip's head screw in the door handle 2. remove the plastic covers over the screws on the armrest with a small flat blade screwdriver 3. remove the two Philip's head screws in the armrest 4. push the door handle forward (towards the windshield) to remove it from the door (it still will be connected to the actuator rod) but Will be loose enough for #8 5. pop all of the plastic rivets around the front, back and bottom of the door panel with your fingers or with a removal tool (recommended) 6. pop the front of the window/door lock panel up and pull it out 7. unplug the connectors for the window and door lock controls 8. lift up on door panel (it is shaped like an upside down J) and feed the door handle through the hole and it will freely pull away from the door
