if it comes out just a little bit, gently tap DOWNWARD on the little bit that's sticking out, it should start to come out enough for you to grip it with your finger tips and gently pull straight away from the mechanism. I've found that older, slightly thicker cds will not jam, but some of the new ones coming out are ever so slightly thinner and have this problem :(

How do you remove a jammed CD from car radio in a ford focus?

I removed 2 cds from my 2005. Remove the cover that surrounds the radio. The lighter and htr./ac. will come with it. Just be carefull and use a small screwdriver around the edges to remove it. Romove the 4 bolts that hold radio in place. There are 4 torqs screws that hold the faceplate in place. When that came off mine the 2 cds were sitting in a cavity on top of CD player they should fall out.

How do you get your car to accept Cds after you removed a jammed Cd?

How do you get CDs out of a jammed CD player in a 2000 Volvo S80?

You have to remove the player from the dash (disconnect neg. battery cable first). Disassemble it and manually push out the discs. My CD's were jammed and I had to do this. I also noticed that a gear which moves the CD holders had broken teeth. I'm still trying to find a replacement gear. HERE'S A TRICK I FIGURED OUT: Take another CD. Go to the slot the CD is jammed in (Disc 3, 4 whatever)...MAKE SURE YOU HOLD THE CD TIGHTLY. Put the new CD in, but don't actually insert it in all the way. When the CD player tries to "pull it in," pull the CD out quickly. The "jammed" CD will spit out if you try this several times, usually. Certain CDs don't agree with the Volvo CD player (at least mine), and I am not sure why.

How can you remove jammed cds from CD player in a Nissan Maxima?

To remove a jammed CD from a Nissan Maxima's CD player, first turn off the ignition and unplug the car battery for a few minutes to reset the system. Then, try using the "eject" button while turning the ignition back on. If the CD still doesn't eject, you can gently insert a thin, flat tool like a credit card beside the CD slot to nudge the disc out. If these methods fail, consider consulting a professional mechanic or the dealership for assistance.

How do you repair a jammed 6 CD changer stereo on a 2002 Ford Escape?

remove the sterio and then un screw the two bolts Alternatively, with the CD Changer in the vehicle, push 'eject' and if the CD won't come out, get a credit card or something similar and lift the CD upward. I have also had to grab the CD with needle-nosed pliers. They get stuck when you use homemade CDs, commercial CDs of good quality almost never get stuck.
