okay first u remove the panel to the shfter with a flathead screwdriver,it comes off pretty easily try not to crack it by using too much force. Then u remove the 2 screws located on both side under the cigarette box. . Pull the whole unit then disconnect the connector to the lighter then remove it by pulling straight up.
