You need to remove the rear tire then remove the two mounting bolts connected up by the top of the trunk. then compress the cylinder. After that you need a size 24 metric socket to remove where the strut is mounted behind the brake. After that, insert the new one and connect it behind the brake. Then attach the strut at the top. Be sure to install a new mounting kit when replaceing your struts. A new mounting kit will save a lot of wear and tear on the new struts. be sure to properly torque down the mounting bolts.
