There is a 10mm bolt located right around the 60/40 split. You can see it if you lower the left back rest about halfway. It isn't necessary to lower the backrest to remove the bolt, it just helps you see where it is. After you remove the bolt lift the seat from the backside as if it were hinged at the front. Once the seat is around 90 degrees up just pull up and the seat is out.
