How do you remove the back seat of an olds aurora?

Slide a heavy screwdriver under the leading edge of the seat and pry upwards and the seat will snap out of it's retainers. Feed the seat belts through the holes in the seat and remove. This will then expose 2 bolts at the base of the backrest which hold it in plce, remove these and the backrest comes out.

For the seat, at the bottom front edge where it meets the floor, push back about 3/8 of an inch and lift up. The back should be held in with a bolt on each side at the bottom where the seat was.

Working one side at a time, push the bottom of the rear seat firmly down and firmly back at the same time. This will release the hooks and allow the bottom to lift out. With the lower removed the outer corners of the back portion is exposed so you can disconnect the lower corners then lift straight up towards the rear window to release the hooks holding the upper portion of the seat, then lift out.

There should be a lever on the bottom of the back seat. It is located on the lower corner of the back seat, and it allows the back seat to come out in one piece.

You put your fingers under the leading edge of the seat bottom where your feet go and just lift up very firmly. There are clips that snap it back into position.
