On your TV remote in the center there will be a OK button you click on it then AT THE BOTTOM there will be circles with different colors on your TV remote there will be the same circle's the exact same click on the blue button then something will pop up on your TV and finally it will say do you want to turn your subtitles off your TV.
This all depends on your TV remote and how it is set up. Most TV remotes have a button that takes you to the menu. Then you look for the audio listing and then for Closed Captioning and turn that off or change the setting.
