The black section of the top of the dash is removable. Pry it up. First, remove the plastic side covers that you see on both sides of the windshield frame (between the windshied and the doors) by getting a finger under the top edge and prying them off. They have 3 or 4 of those clips that press into place. Try to pull as close to the clips as you can to avoid snapping the plastic. Also, check to see that the metal clips don't come off the covers and stay stuck to the frame holes. If they do, just pull them out with pliers and reattach them to the covers once their off. Next, get a finger grip under the edge of either side of the black dashboard as close to a clip as you can and start prying the clips up. The dash is held down by 4 or five of these snap on clips. Be careful around the instrument gauges because you can crack the plastic dash unless you pry it up very close to the clips. When you have the whole front edge of the dash pried up disconnect the cable to the console lights. Now pull the whole dash towards you to unseat the back of it. It's flexible so you can bow it a little to clear the edges as you remove it. You're done. The dash speakers are held down with two screws and are easy to remove now. Bonus answer: The rear side speakers are similar to get to. Just pry out the plastic cover from the bottom/side edges.
