How do you remove the fuel filter located on a 2000 VW Beetle?

Press retainer flange to slide off connector. Filter is on passenger side in front of rear wheel.

to get the oil filter out you need to remove the black cover in front of the cross member by the two wing bolts and then pull the oil filter through there.

You will have to be very careful when doing this. Take a flat tool or butter knife,pry around til cover snaps,then remove carefully with hands. 2nd,remove screws to get to filter. It's no fun.

There are a couple of bolts to remove and one can be a bit difficult. Once the old one is removed snap a new one in (there is a spring that you will have to feel by hand to make sure it is in correct). Replace the air filter housing and then you are good to drive.

You will need to drain the fuel from your 2000 Chevrolet Blazer fuel tank. Remove the fuel line from the fuel tank. Remove the fuel filter retaining plate. Remove the fuel filter. Reverse the process to install the new fuel filter.

Transmission filters are INSIDE the transmission. You need to remove the transmission oil pan. When you replace the filter, plan on replacing the pan gasket as well.
