I don't know if this will work but its worth a try. Rotate the armrest up and down to locate the pivot point of the armrest. After locating the pivot point try pushing the armrest toward the seat very firmly. While pushing inward try rotating the armrest past the up or down stop. If you can get past that stop a little further rotation should bring it to a point where the arm rest will release and be able to be pulled away from the seat. Good luck. This method has worked on other seats but I don't know if it will work on a Windstar seat.
How do i remove the rear back seats of my ford windstar minivan for cargo space
== == The seats come out. Look at the floor and find the release locks. By using the seat release mechanism, the rear seats of the windstar come right out of the van, leaving a complete open space for carrying loads.
Generally speaking the seats from a 1999 Windstar will fit up to 2003 Windstars.
No, not unless you replace both second rear side seats. or remove the center arm rest. I own a 8 passenger version and It doesnt have arm rest on the seats.
Unscrew the bolts that hold them to the floor.
all you have to do is use common sense and your good to go!
it is located between the driver and passenger seats, on the bottom of the floor but to get it you have to remove first a plastic box between the seats.
The seats in a Windstar are radically different in mounting designs from the 'full-size' Ford vans and are not interchangeable.
8 seats.
I have a 2004 and I haven't tackled that one yet but I know of some guys that remove and install race seats and all. These guys can help you. I
