How do you remove the rear speakers in a 1996 Chevy Monte Carlo. I see them through the trunk but it seems they need to be accessed from back seat. How do you get to them?
Fold down your rear seat backrests, there should be 2 bolts up near the top of the opening.. one left... one right... remove those, pull the seat out and there are 2 small screws holding the carpeted cover on. remove those aswell. after those are removed slide the seat belts out of the carpeted cover and its able to be removed. and speakers are right there
