1. Buy the correct-fit replacement (the replacement blade will have step-by-step, illustrated instructions). The 2007 Toyota Rav4 takes a special 12" rear wiper blade for the special rear arm. Your dealer will have them (may be expensive) or you may want to look into "Trico Exact Fit Rear Blades" that fit these new special arms - you can find them online. Step 1 is to make sure you purchase the correct replacement first. Then, the trick is to remove the cover at the bottom of the windshield wiper arm. Unless you do so, the windshield wiper arm will not swing away from the window. This is required because the wiper itself must pivot at a right angle to the windshield wiper arm to remove it.
