Follow these instructions exactley!! Or you will break the new mirror!! Roll down the window all the way. Move the mirror so that access can be gained on the outboard edge of the mirror and housing. The outboard edge is the location on the mirror housing right next to the door. Now take a flat object like a flat file or use your fingers and pull the mirror away from the housing. Detach the wires. Now take off the 2 plastic motor gear nuts if they didnt come off already. Take your long nose pliers and pull straight out on these. Do not lose the little springs!! Now take and install the gear nuts with springs on your good mirror snap them right on they are keyed so pay attention. Now grab a flash light you will need it position the new mirror to the housing connect the wires then align the 2 gear nuts so they will reinstall into the slot holes they came out of. Make sure they are aligned up !! When you are sure they are aligned push in on the center of the mirror carefully. You should feel or hear 2 snaps . One from the gear nuts engaging and the other from the pivot points connecting to the base of the mirror. You are done.
How do I remove the left low beam headlight on a 2002 Cadillac Sedan Deville? I found 3 bolts, but there is something holding it near the fender side of the assembly.
The window relay on a 1967 Deville is located behind the drivers side door panel. You will have to remove the door panel to expose the relay system.
The rear view mirror on a 1999 Cadillac Deville is replaced by loosening the retaining screw and sliding the mirror assembly of the mount. A new mirror is then slid into place and the screw tightened down.
hey, I'm not sure if this will help but i have a 1991 Cadi deville and it looks like you have to remove the door panal and unbolt the mirror and dissconect it, it should be the same, on pretty much all cars you have to remove the door panal to get to the mirror and it looks like Cadillac hasn't changed much on stuff like this, they just chaged the look and style of the door panal, any should be an easy fix but take your time and be easy with it, stuff can brake, good luck on your cadi, you out.
