How do you get mold off of pool liners?

I used a magic erase scrubbie pad to take the mold off the top inside of our vinyl liner for our inground pool. It came off very easily. It also work great taking off the water line on the stairs.

I have been informed that the best way to do this is: 1. Brush off any surface mold 2. Get a large chlorine tablet and break it in half 3. Rub the chlorine tablet in to the black mold 4. Repeat daily for about 1 week. Currently working on it. Will reply if this works as I have been informed.

Remove any mold you can get out of the pool. Then turn the filter on and let it run for at least 24 hours. Make sure your pH level is between 7.2 to 7.8. Your alkalinity level should be around 80 to 120 ppm for underground pools and 125 to 170 ppm for painted. Finally your calcium harness should be around 200 to 400 ppm. After that is checked get some algaecide and read the directions on it to see how much you put in.

I had a similar problem and I used a Mr Clean Eraser. It came off very easy and has not come back. Worth a try and it's a very cheap alternative. Those erasers will clean almost anything.

Get an algaecide from a pool shop describe exactly what it looks like and take a water sample with you to the shop.

The only real way to remove mold is to physically remove it. You can try straight bleach to the affected area. That may help get rid of it but not completely.
