cost of a brake job for a 2004 chevy impala, front and rear?

The brakes them selves are around $80 for the front and $85 for the rear, the cost of installation depends on the mechanic doing the work. The best way to find out is to call some local mechanics and auto repair shops in the area.

You were driving 85 c10 when it just died and would not start back you towed it home and it set for a week then you went to work on it first thing you did was see if plugs getting fire thay were then?

Check the fuel pressure next. Then check the timing. With good fuel, spark and the right timing the c10 should start.
