You are looking at a safety factor here!!! You have to absolutely have to have the correct board for the base. They are rarely interchangeable. Some board companies have available an attachment kit for each model of board that they produce.

If your board is not specific to the measurements of your pool ( depth, length of area below the board are among a few of the considerations as are the measurements of the board itself are extremely critical to diving off of the board). Errors in calculation of these measurements or the wrong application of the wrong board with the wrong base

can be fatal to someone diving off of that miss matched board. There have been cases where all calculations were within all standards set by the different authorities and still someone gets badly hurt or dies. The homeowner, the installer, the seller of the board, the pool service tech - even though he has nothing to do with the board or it's installation - the builder of the pool, the builder of the board are all included into a law suit for damages. The word: BEWARE!
