how do i replace the pvc vacuum hoses?

It depends on if it is a I4 or the V6. The inline 4 PVC valve is located on the side of the engine block, under the intake manifold. The V6 PVC valve in the valve cover of the cylinder bank next to the firewall. It is on the driver's side, near the throttle body. You can follow the rubber hose from the intake manifold down to the PVC valve. The Valve has a tab that locates it when it is screwed in/installed.

To change PVC valve on a 1993 Nissan 300zx, first remove the oil dip stick and remove the tension clip from the PVC valve hose. Then remove the hose and the old PVC valve. Replace with a new PVC valve.

PVC from where? You have to be more expecific... Need more info... The PVC valve is located in the right , passenger valve cover. test and replace involve same procedures. remove valve, still connected to hose, from valve cover. hold finger over end of valve. if vacuum is felt ,it is OK, if no vacuum is felt, remove valve from hose and feel for vacuum. if vacuum is felt at intake hose, then you must replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve (PVC) valve. valve comes off cover by just pulling. valve comes off hose same way.
