You will see a circular plastic part with a different shape in the middle that is on top of the battery and keeps the watch face in place. Mine is colored white. Pop that off from the bottom. From there press up underneath the battery. There should be a little groove underneath where the battery is. After that inspect the battery that was already in there. For example: Mine was a V377+ Varta Germany. I bought a Energizer V377 and put it in. It works like a charm. Put the plastic part back on top of the battery. Then pull up on the top of the pocket watch, moving the spinning part of the watch. Carefully put the back of the watch back on, as jiggling it a little will change the time you've so specifically changed. After the back is on, then push down on the top of the pocket watch. This will start the second counter again. Tada. You have changed the battery of a ciprini pocket watch.
