This is a very involved job. It requires removing the steering wheel and the entire dash. You should check out a reliable service manual before considering doing the job yourself. If you do decide to do it, it's a good idea to replace the heater core as well, even it's still functioning. Have an assistant on hand to assist in dash removal. Good luck.
