fuel pump is mechanical and located on top of engine valley, right above camshaft, middle part of engine, also back side of fuel filter housing. need to remove intake y to heads and small orange tubes , y is connected to turbocharger (don't damage small o-ring seal that goes between turbo and seal). after doing that make sure you also remove fuel filter housing with fuel pump. sounds easy! but it's a five hour job for dealership technicians. good luck.

If you 350 diesel is a 1995 it will have a manual fuel pump it is located in the middle of motor right behind the water/fuel filter look & answer on how to replace on this home page. correction ,this is not a manual fuel pump.it is a mechanical fuel pump
Either manually pump fuel from the fuel tanks to the fuel filter, or else open up the fuel filter, and pour some diesel fuel directly into it.
The Ford F350's take diesel fuel in most instances unless they have been modified to take regular fuel. Be sure to check your owners manual to see which kind of fuel your truck takes.
