the fuel pump is inside the gas tank. you have to drop the tank, and there is a locking mechanism around the sending unit. undo that and pull the sending unit out. be very careful not to damage any of the fuel lines or wires to the pump. the fuel pumpis a silver color cylinder towards the bottom of the sending unit. twist the pump i do believe to the left and pull it off. the screen on the bottom is just pressed on so you can get that off with a screwdriver but be careful! after the pump is off replace the new one exactly the same way you took it apart and replace it in the tank. now most new pumps come with an o-ring that seals the sending unit so you don't leak gas. replace the sending unit locking mechanism and replace the gas tank in the car, mak sure that your intake and return lines are right and then turn the key to run and you should a humming noise which means that the fuel pump is working. it may take a couple of times trying to start it before it starts and that's do to the fuel system repriming itself. good luck!
Behind the fuel tank.
In the gas. Of course.
The Fuel pump sending unit has gone bad. Replace fuel pump assembly, not just the pump.
how do you replace the fuel sending unit
It has one fuel filter.
There is no schrader valve, you need to source an adapter to place between where the fuel line attaches to the intake manifold.
No. The fuel pumps changed in 1993 to a different design, from that point on the pump and sending unit were integrated into one unit. They will not interchange.
drop the fuel tank
It is located inside the fuel tank. You need to drop the entire tank down to replace. in the bottom of the gas tank.
A broke fuel line can cause a 1995 Beretta to leak fuel into air filter assembly. An exhaust leak can also cause this issue.
You will have to drop the gas tank, to get to it.
