If you have a fuel rail with injectors on it there shoud be a small black cap on it,either on the front or rear of it.Under the cap it will look like the valve on your tires valve stem. With your engine off, depress it and gas should shoot out of it about three feet, whatever you do,do not stand in front of it.If you have a throttlebody only, there shoud be something similar also, but not sure where it is located, this one should not have as much pressure. One more way is to stand outside of the truck, reach in and turn the key on and if the pump is working you will hear a humming noise from the gas tank area,it will only last as long as it takes to build up pressure in the gas lines then shut off, about a few seconds,if it takes a long time then your pump is most likely bad.
